Hoop double tear-away stabilizer, or heavy tear-away stabilizer. Place fabric on top (I used fleece)
Sew the first outline of the bunny. and the face and embroidery design details. Then flip the hoop.
Tape matching fabric to the back of the hoop.
Then finish sewing the outlines and eyelets, like So.
The back should look like this. Now trim around the edge of the bunny.
You can sew a pompom ,or a bit of fluffy fleece, (I keep all my scraps in a plastic bag)Once you tail is on, your FLAT bunting is ready.
For the FAT Bunny, snip a tiny slash through the back fabric where the tail would be.
Then fill with polyester stuffing,or sometimes I recycle the old produce bags from the grocery store . |
Sew a scrap of fluffy fleece over the tail hole, and you have a FAT bunny! |

For the rosy cheeks, if you have a red marker, paint the end of a Qtip, then rub on the ceeks, for a soft look. Then if you wish, decorate. |
