British and Irish Sheep Bunting

Make in the hoop bunting/garland representing the countries of the British Isles and southern Ireland, these lovely fuzzy sheep can be used for all manner of occasions, there is holly for a Christmas banner and a blank one that letters can be added to. Each sheep is 5.83" x 4.28" so a 5x7 hoop is needed.

Bamboo fleece was used to make this bunting. I placed it over a double layer of tear-away stabilizer. If using fleece , the result is crisper and cleaner if you use a layer of water soluble stabilizer over the top of the front of the sheep, to prevent the embroidery from sinking into the pile. Sew the front detail, then tape the backing fleece to the back of the hoop and sew the black outlines, pop from the hoop and trim the edges with pinking sheers.
