Heart Felt Applique

Just in time for Valentines day, A little set of appliqués using a heart motif, designed for the 4" hoop. I used iridescent metallic fabric for the dragon fly, the photo doesn't do it justice, and the bees wings are sparkly organdy.

Sew the first colour, any colour, it won't show. Place your fabric, in that sewn area, sew the next color to fix the fabric ,it too won't show, cut the excess fabric away. pick your border colour. Tip: if you use water soluble stabilizer placed over the designs for the last border colours,the edges of the appliqué are so much crisper and neater.
Then off you go, the machine does the rest!
