Small Garland and Tree Garland Help

These instructions will help with all the tree garlands and the Tabby Alphabet. First hoop up some heavy tear-away, or medium cut-away stabilizer.Then lay the fabric of your choice over the hoop. For these particular garlands, I prefer a micro fleece. Then sew th details, ie face, or holly, or in the case of the tabby alphabet ,the letter and markings and face.

Now turn the hoop over and tape matching fabric to the back.Make sure that you have enough fabric to cover the design.Now turn back and resew the finishing outlines, eyeholes and any more details.It will be your last color.

Pop your embroidered garland piece from the hoop, and trim close to the outer stitching. Pierce the eylets for threading your ribbon, thread with a big fat darning needle. I like to use beads as spacers on the tree garlands too.
