Applique Baby Blanket or Quilt label

These applique toppers work really well, they reduce the amount of stitching visible on the back of the blanket. Sew the outline on the stabilizer and fabric of your choice, sew the design and add the name. Remove from the hoop and trim to the outline leaving the last two colours of the design ready to sew(the edge of your applique). Hoop your blanket and tearaway stabilizer, where you want to place the applique, sew the next colour which will give you the outline of where to put your applique.( use a little spritz of spray adhesive to keep it in place) Sew the outline again, and the finishing edge, and Voila! You will only have a circle of stitching on the back of the blanket.
The circles are just under 4" and 4.50" in diameter
